"Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can reach down to the bottom of his soul and come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win when the match is even." -Muhammad Ali
I've been reflecting on the year's losses and victories. This year brought me to my knees, but on the other side of those challenges was a rebirth. An opportunity to reclaim my life and stand tall in who I am, even if my knees shook. To embrace my scars and wear them as medals of honor, proof that I have grown stronger. More resilient. More confident to stand in my light and purpose. Despite having lost myself, I wouldn't change anything about it because the strength of the fighter I found in the rubble is the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced. Trust your struggle. There's so much life on the other side of it.
